It is worth remembering that 2010 was celebrated on Copacabana Beach for a crowd of about two million people, according to the Military Police. And that left a sujeirada of 522 tons of garbage!
Well before the end of the night, the weather was stable, the exact opposite of what he said the weather forecast. And to top it had a Blue Moon, the second full moon of the month of December, a super rare phenomenon that only happens every 2.7 years. Unfortunately this year withdrew one of the ferries was the end of the beach, right in front of the tiller and she moved to stay, in my opinion, littered with two others near the Copacabana Palace. I found a mess, because instead of spreading the show, the spectacle along the beach, and so make the population would not be crowded at one point fell through. Everyone had to be squeezed in the same region, causing much turmoil in just a few blocks from the waterfront.
I, my dear wife and beloved children without knowing where we would go at midnight and that was when a last minute invitation from my friend Milton Majella, led us to go to his apartment in Leme and that's where the visual tivemso Panoramic 360 degree view of joy and festivity.
At midnight, fireworks white, and shooting stars, marking the New Year exploded in Copacabana. And the music started with "From Leme to Pontefract," Tim Maia, and had tbm Watercolor of Brazil, Wonderful Town and ended with Country Tropical. There were about 15 minutes long, and 16 tons of fireworks exploded in nine rafts. The sky was totally Copacabana Rio colorful and celebrated as a future Olympic host in 2016.
What reminded me of another 360 photos that I made when pronouncing the victory of Rio for the Olympics. Look here
I really do not know if I think it was a great show or not. And the reason is simple. I miss when fireworks were launched from the sand. The feel, sound, noise, vibration of the audience was much larger.
Well and now I hope you enjoy this 360 degree panoramic photo and if possible, leave a blog comment ![]()

Panoramic 360 degree street blocks Rio de Janeiro Carnival 2010
The world observes the beautiful images of the Samba School parades and each year has been increasing interest in the Street Carnival in the Marvelous City.
This year was also probably the hottest. Heat was angry, passing the limits of the bearable. I practically melted hehehe
But that's not why he would leave to make some 360 photos of the revelry, blocks, streets, the crowds that gather to play, jump and have fun in Rio
Then we went to the street by an undertaking which still can not cite a few blocks and photographed this wonderful Carnival which is from Rio de Janeiro.
In here we can see the joy that reigns in Heaven on Earth Block that "walks" by St. Teresa, the bohemian and typical district of Rio revelers. The concentration happens in Largo dos Guimarães and extends through the streets of the neighborhood, preventing tremzinho go through the entire length of the rails. There were about 5000 people watching and dancing. The moment is when the top block arrives at Largo das Neves where he remained until exhausting the forces of the revelers, musicians and also ![]()
The landscape is special, past old houses and streets that seem to be part of a distant past of old Rio.

I hope you enjoy the Panoramic Immersive and enjoy both the visual and the audio because I'll tell you this: It took work paca, was a blistering heat, and were trampled all the time.
Outside everyone pulls you and says with that crazy guy:
- Put a picture of me is here tbm.
- Hey, I wanna get on Grobo!
- Gee, makes an fotinha my tbm ...
- Hello fotógrafu her, makes me a click w / me in my boots orkuti hehehe
- Look at me here with the cat! makes the photo aê Prus my amigus see.
And so on it goes. A disturbance, especially as you pull, hold the camera strap, grab you by the hair, I embrace (aarrrggghhh) and other coisitas more hehehe
If you look calmly go find my wife @ Andrea_360 (twitter profile) in the middle of muvuca being crushed while waiting I photographed, and she captured the audio w / sonically illustrate the Panorama Immersive.
In fact I think Panorama Immersive audio MUST have to spend the immersion in the environment 360 degrees. No it is half-assed, look at the scene in total silence is way outside the context of today's multimedia.
And here is the madness. In Rio Branco Avenue, in downtown Rio, more precisely in Cinelandia, the cord of the Bola Preta met this year, 1.5 million people!
Right, a million and half people, and curious revelers participating in this free carnival glory. Every place you look at that 360 photos is a "sea" of people, of people, a colorful crowd jumping and dancing samba marching to the sound of Brazil's most popular.
The stairs of the National Library were packed with revelers, too, because here on the floor, the asphalt was almost impossible to move.
Watch this 360 degree panoramic photo is like having real proof of the amount of people gathered in one moment.

Now the pan 360 degrees is the joy that rolled on the Sunday morning of Carnival. In Praça XV, right there in downtown Rio, in the heart of the city, close to boarding the ferry to take and bring the crowd to the other side of the Bay of Gunabara to the city of Niterói, happens every year the feast of the Cord Boitatá.
Many people dressed up, many young people, many fam'lias, finally, a fun and friendly with everyone jumping and playing for real.
It is worth taking a little jump there next year and enjoy the Boitatá ![]()
Look at this image 360 degrees, as for all sides and even beyond what we can see how it is packed with revelers jumping, dancing samba and having fun with music in the air!

360 degree panoramic view of the Maracana - Globonews :: 360 ° Panorama Immersive photo
Early in this year I was contacted by Dept. Art of Globonews.
The purpose of the contact was budgeting a perfect 360 photos, which were made exactly the center of the pitch and would be used in the composition of a virtual scenery for a new program for the World Cup.
The picture had to spend the feeling that the reporter was there in the middle of the field, turning around.
I loved the idea, because once again pioneering accomplish something in Brazil.
In the Brazilian TV had never been used technology to create immersive panoramas of a virtual course like this and I was very honored to be the first to produce something.
Presented to estimate the investment and then it was just waiting for me to accept return.
Days later I was approached by the production of Globonews that would take care of permits to enter the middle of the lawn.
I explained a few details and suggested that he was sure would help the picture stayed the most beautiful and perfect as possible.
Click here or on photo below to see the Maracana, and the middle of the lawn
On 25/janeiro, a Monday, early in the morning we drove to the maraca. No Customer, production, art, the Board finally went with one of Globonews. They said that surely I would know better than anyone what to do and why they hired me. I liked it.
When he arrived, after some paperwork to finally get on the field, photographed during two hours following all the plans that I drew with my wife, who is also my partner and assistant. Besides Santa, of course. hehehe. The sun was hot and as I forgot to bring sunscreen, the way it was to be melting. Rolls never understood why football game this time hehehe.
I took two cameras, Nikon is unclear, several lenses, to be exact 10 different lenses, because I intended to do with different views to ensure that the result was in my head. We also several tripods and some traquitanas I even designed and built, which allowed me to make special angles.
And I took the occasion and took my two sons to help in this picture 360 degrees, it is not every day that someone steps in the center of the lawn of the largest football stadium in the world. Well, I do not know if the Maracana is still the largest in the world, but at least it should be the most famous.
We left there and was running to handle the images and "build" a pan, after all, I needed to deliver the next morning, as I was leaving soon with his family to return to Saquarema where we would spend the week taking surfing lessons. And beyond that, you can not escape the fact the place is WONDERFUL, the beach is beautiful, the sea is delightful, the water is crystal clear, transparent total.
Horasss were followed over the files. I generated panoramic 360 degrees, about 2 GB each. 16-bit files, running smooth on my MacBook Pro, even with Leopard installed, since lack of time to install Snow
And if you want to know more, read this nice article on the blog of journalist Cristina De Luca, current Director of Content Group Now! Digital, publisher of the sites IDGNow!, PCWorld, MacWorld, ComputerWorld, and CIO, about my 360 pictures, just click over this link.
